This is one of those places you didn't know you HAD to eat at. It is an absolute must when you are in Savannah. The lowcountry boil is by far the best value at $10 and change and worth every penny! The only downfall is if you are in a hotel, it's hard to eat the crabs that come with it because you don't have anything to crack them open. However, outside of that it is literally to die for food. The amount of shrimp, sausage, corn, potato, and crab you get is unreal. We got it covered in butter and hot sauce and it was amazing. We also got the spicy conch and a deviled egg and oooooohhhh weee. I cannot even tell you how good it is. Be warned, they are cash or debit only. No credit. They will be crowded. There is utter chaos at times, but it is 100% worth it.

The spicy conch is insanely good as well as the party sized options for low country boil style things. The service is fast too.

Well...it's been YEARS since I had anything to eat from Bobo Seafood Market and I know that they had a blemish on their name AAA another reason why I avoided this place. However, on this particular day, it was getting late, I was famished and there weren't many choices between there and home so I decided to stop in. There were lots of cars that filled the tiny parking lot which really did not take much, but I found a spot that would give me a good view of the door. I decided to sit in the car for a while to see what kind of activity Bobo would get especially on a Friday night after work. The doo was like a revolving wheel because folks were in and out with bags and bags of food. This was the sign I needed to get out of my car and take a look. I was a little nervous when I could smell fishyness, so I treaded lightly as I walked over to the counter. I decided to make friends with the locals who seemed to be regulars based on how they ordered without looking at the menu. So... I asked a few people what was good. Many said the conch and the shrimp. Since I always get shrimp, I decided to try the conch. I added the spicy crab and a deviled crab. While all of it was pretty good, I would have to go one less star due to the fact that it was a little too salty for me. I definitely couldn't eat here often because all of it is highly loaded with sodium. But for an occasional on the go seafood thing, it would be an acceptable choice.

Stopped off on the way out of Savannah after vacationing on Tybee Island. Been coming here for years and years. It's changed several hands and i believe relocated, but I never had a bad experience. Reading reviews from 2016-2017 made me a little skeptical, but I noticed more recent ones were good, so took a chance. I never leave Savannah without a Wet Willy's and some conch and crabs from Bobo's. The guy was really nice and confirmed Bobo's was previously owned. I got one crab cake, small conch, and asked for a small low country boil. Well, they must have given me a large because OMG the amount of shrimp and sausage! Only half a crab and not enough red potatoes though. $23! That's it! We were traveling quite a distance and after tasting everything, I packed everything in ice and it made it's way back home without spoiling. I literally ate for nearly a week and still have some leftover. Highly recommended!

FIVE STARS+++++ The absolute BEST shrimp and seafood pickup restaurant around! Worth the drive from Tybee or grab it in your way in, like we always do! -- PS: get extra seasonings for your home batches later!

Go here! Eat everything! It's all so delicious. We ordered 2 medium boil platters and an additional 3lbs for snow crab. Fed the 6 of us easy with a little left over! Service was quick and to the point. The will answer questions but you get the vibe they would Prefer you know what you want to order once you get to the window. Oh but once you do order food ready in 10 (on a Friday night) which is WILD! Would recommend to anyone in Savannah!

Unbeatable, authentic no frills local seafood takeout spot. My second time at Bobo's, you seriously cannot beat the price for low country boil with all that food for $9.95. Their boil comes with corn, potatoes, crab, shrimp and sausage. I didn't try their sausage but my friends said it was salty. Make sure you get a large tub of their melted garlic butter for $3. We poured it all over our boil and asked for our boil to be seasoned rather than on the side. They also sell whole fish, not filet and do not offer frying of anything. They are also not offering beverages at this time and limiting indoor ordering occupancy to eight people. Give them a try!
